For Lifehacker, I wrote a guide on how to use Google Assistant’s reminders with your Android or iOS device, or your Google Assistant smart speaker and smart display. I pitched the idea after Google announced specific reminders for different family members, which I now use to torture my husband with things to do. It is fun being us.
The article includes helpers for busy people, students, frustrated parents and roommates, and the forgetful. I also finally pinned down how to use the note-taking feature with the Google Assistant, which I swear has evolved about five times since it launched a few years back. I also walk you through how to use an IFTTT command so that you can compile robust notes for yourself as needed. IFTTT is always worth the trouble.
